The numbers don't lie

A while back, I realized most SEO tools were missing the point. Everyone talks about rankings, but few actually connect real data with daily business decisions. That's what pushed us to start tracking actual client performance, directly from Google Search Console, across nearly 6,000 websites.

We built our own integrations and let the data flow — millions of pages, every industry you can imagine. Our goal was simple: understand the data, see what actually moves the needle in SEO, and what percentage of that can be automated. Hint: a lot.

We're not here to sell you a “magic bullet” solution — we wanted to prove, with evidence, what truly delivers sustainable growth over long period of time.

Every insight we share below, comes straight from this data, not opinions or isolated case studies. We isolated over 50 factors that can impact your SEO and created a csv file with millions of rows representing every single page, their factors and their search console data.

This study confirmed what I suspected when building SEOJuice: sustainable SEO success comes from doing the fundamentals well, at scale, over time. The 5% of truly strategic work — creating authority content, building relationships, developing unique insights — that's where humans add irreplaceable value. Everything else should run on autopilot.

That's why we're confident in our tool and our promise of growth to our clients. We focus on what can be scaled, repeated, and automated, so you're free to focus on building your authority — long term.

Automation

Most teams are optimizing the wrong things.

Our research has found that on-page optimizations are mostly busy-work that can be automated. Your SEO team is spending 80% of their time on technical tasks that could run on autopilot. Meanwhile, the work that actually moves the needle — building authority — gets pushed to the back.

Data collected: June 2024 → June 2025

While competitors manually fix meta tags, check broken links, optimize internal linking — winning teams focus on what humans do best: strategy, and creating content that build authority.

Data Insight #1 · Internal Links

8 or more internal links = up to 240.6% more clicks

After analyzing 10 million pages, we found a clear and statistically significant pattern: pages with high internal link counts consistently outperformed those with fewer links.

Just 32.3% of pages have 8 or more internal links — most sites are missing out.

Websites with higher authority have 60% more number of pages with higher internal links than those with lower authority.

Our engine auto-adds the right links so you can spend time creating authority-building content.

On the other hand, missing multiple technical SEO aspects reduces clicks from Google by 77% compared to baseline (1+ missing factor).

40% of websites are missing at least two critical technical SEO factors.

The hygiene factors wont boost your traffic, but they will prevent you from losing traffic.

Data Insight #3 · Site Speed

Every extra second costs you 7% of revenue — here's the proof.

We've identified significant correlation between site speed and organic traffic. Fast sites get 2× more organic traffic than slow sites.

Websites with higher domain authority are on average 45% faster than those with lower authority.

Slow websites have on average 50% less organic traffic than the average.

We help you spot site speed issues early — so you can fix them before they cost you traffic and revenue.
