Price Changes at SEOJuice

When you’re a mother of two boys, life is a constant negotiation. Who gets the last candy? How long until one of them declares that their brother “stares at him”? And, of course, the classic question: “Why is mom’s phone suddenly missing, only to be found under a couch cushion with YouTube running?”
Starting a company like SEOJuice feels a lot like parenting — except now, instead of refereeing toy disputes, We’re trying to decide how much we should charge for our services without offending clients, going broke, or needing a tub of ice cream at 3 a.m.
Let’s talk pricing, shall we?
The Early Days of “Wait, How Much Do We Charge?”
When SEOJuice was launched, setting prices felt like picking which boy’s school project deserved full attention. Both were demanding, both needed resources, and both came with a lot of “Are we doing this right?” moments.
As a startup, you’re constantly told: “Don’t undervalue yourself! Charge what you’re worth!” But when you’re just starting, what exactly are you worth? A shiny dime? A million bucks? Or somewhere awkwardly in the middle, where you feel like you’re undercharging but also secretly fear someone will tell you, “Oh, that’s way too expensive”?
I remember sitting with my Co-Founder (read: the only adult conversation I’d had that week), trying to crunch numbers and thinking which piece of the pie belongs to us. We debated things like:
- How should we target our customers?
- What if someone said, “That’s too much”?
- What if everyone said, “That’s too much”?
Spoiler alert: no matter what pricing you choose, someone always says it’s too much.
Why We’ve Changed Prices Now
Fast forward to today, and SEOJuice is growing — yay! But with that growth comes a realization: the prices we started with no longer make sense. When you’re small, you can get away with charging just enough to keep the lights on (and by “lights,” I mean a steady supply of coffee and the occasional bribe to keep the boys quiet during a Zoom call).
Our original pricing was built for everyone. We charged flat, affordable fees designed to keep us afloat and give clients great value without breaking their budgets. For example:
At that time, we focused on simple, all-in-one packages, trying to balance affordability with results. But as we’ve grown, so has the demand for our time, expertise, and ability to make magic happen with SEO strategies.
What’s New?
With the new pricing structure, we’re introducing more flexible, tiered options to better meet the needs of both startups and established businesses. Here’s what it looks like:
So yes, we’re adjusting our prices. Think of it as moving from “mom bargain bin” to “mom knows her worth.”
Why Pricing Is Harder Than Choosing What’s for Dinner
You might be thinking, “It’s just pricing — why all the fuss?” But pricing is like trying to decide what to cook for dinner when one kid wants chicken nuggets, the other wants spaghetti, and I’d rather eat a bowl of cereal.
Here’s the truth: pricing isn’t just numbers on a page. It’s a reflection of your business, your confidence, and your ability to say, “Yes, we’re worth it.” But it’s also about being fair — because I know what it’s like to stretch a budget.
We’ve worked hard to find that balance:
- Fair for clients who are trusting us with their SEO.
- Sustainable for us, so we can keep delivering top-notch results.
- Enough to justify the snacks I need to stay sane during endless workdays.
What This Means for You
Here’s the deal: if you’re already part of the SEOJuice family, thank you. Your support means everything, and we’re committed to delivering even more value as we evolve.
If you’re new around here, don’t worry — we’re still the approachable, Calm Company you can count on. Our pricing changes reflect the fact that we’re growing into the best version of ourselves, just like my boys growing into…well, slightly less chaotic versions of themselves (some days).
Final Thoughts
Changing prices is scary, but so is realizing your toddler has scissors. It’s a leap of faith, a lesson in trust, and a reminder that you can’t please everyone — but you can aim to do your best.
So here’s to growth, change, and the occasional overpriced latte to celebrate surviving another day as a mom, co-founder, and accidental referee. If you have any questions about our pricing (or parenting tips—seriously, I’m open), don’t hesitate to reach out.
Warmly,
Lida
